About me

Rajiv heads the global business operations of BCI. A seasoned professional with around 17 years of work experience in Corporate Strategy, Operations and Human Capital Management function, Rajiv is among one of world’s earliest and most radical thinkers on human capital issues in Business Process Outsourcing. His theories and intuitively brilliant strategies on talent attraction and retention gained rapid currency from early 2000, when much of the Asian BPO industry began having its very first brushes with human talent famine and employee attrition. Many of his innovative practices in talent management have today become a norm for most of the BPOs and IT services companies in India. Rajiv as BCI’s President, has expanded BCI across more than 300 locations in 30 countries. Rajiv is also the architect of all major BCI partnerships with leading global organizations, governments and industry bodies across the world. In the past, Rajiv has worked in various IT and BPO companies like NASDAQ-listed Primus Knowledge Solutions as the Country Head- HR, Moser Baer as Group Head-People Development, Systems America as the Vice President -HR for Asia Pacific & Europe and Citi Group’s Planet Outsourcing as their Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for their BPO operations in India. An accomplished professional, Rajiv was the youngest ever National Council member of Indian Society for Training and Development in 1999-2000 and was awarded Best Organizational Psychologist of the year in 2001 by Psycho Linguistic Association of India. He was also the recipient of Information Technology HR Leader of the year by HRD Foundation in 2003 & HR Professional of the year by Association of Information Technology HR Professionals (AITP) in 2004. A globally acclaimed speaker on Human Capital and BPO, Rajiv has Master’s degrees in Human Resource Management and Applied Psychology. Rajiv is also a Certified Leadership consultant, a Certified Master Management Consultant and an adjunct Professor at International Management Institute, New Delhi. He is currently authoring a book on Talent Management issues in business process outsourcing. Rajiv is married to Geetika, also an MBA who is a Senior Marketing Communication Professional with Accenture and has a six year old son Sarthak. In free time Rajiv enjoys Indian classical music and loves to play Cricket and table tennis.
