Ramon Favila Designs Incorporated is a Filipino-owned corporation involved in the design, manufacture, and sale of apparel. The wide variety of apparel includes corporate clothes, uniforms, evening and wedding gowns, formal wears, suits and other made-to-order clothing. Incorporated in January 2005, the company started operations in August 8, 1988 as a single proprietorship by Ramon Francisco Baltazar Favila Ramon Favila Designs Incorporated venturing to wedding planning and event coordination gave birth to “WEDDINGS ET AL,”. Weddings Et Al started as the event coordinator which advises and helps solve engaged couples’ problems on wedding planning and preparations. Weddings Et Al or WEA has evolved into a TV segment ushering to the needs of the main stars of the wedding, the husband- and wife-to-be. It was shown for two seasons over RPN 9 at Buhay Pinoy Program in 2007. Naturally the show was hosted by Favila himself. Now, a full-pledged business, Weddings Et Al could advice and assist couples and other celebrations’ needs on details such as photography, hairstyle, wedding setting and music, party venue, giveaways, catering, motor vehicle requirements, flowers and flower arrangement, and more. Vis-a-vis Weddings Et Al, RFDI created “ Bouquet by Favila ,” floral décor and arrangement. Its principal objective is to bring the enjoyment of flowers into everyday life whether through decorating or arranging cut flowers. “ Bouquet by Favila ” presents flowers in its pure and simple state or intricately arranges flowers in a designer’s artistic way of expressing one’s appreciation of flowers. In a dynamic move, RFDI together with the Fashion Artists Foundation ( composed of a group of young Pilipino entrepreneurs whose main advocacy is the promotion and advancement of the traditional and the contemporary Pilipino Fashion artists in fields such as modeling, apparel design, hair styling and make-up, photography, graphic and digital arts, furniture and interior design, party and food set-up, stage design and presentations, both locally and internationally ) ushered to the establishment of “ FAF PRET-A-PORTER Philippines, ” a knit apparel. It is a hundred percent locally manufactured garment of international quality standard. The knit apparel focuses on promoting the Pilipino craftsmanship and design acumen. Pret-a-Porter Philippines brings Philippine fashion to its highest level of awareness and competitiveness. Twenty years in the business, RFDI is still evolving and continuously explores the vast horizon of fashion and design . RFDI entrepreneurial sense is unrestricted and boundless.
