About me

Mar brings 19 years of experience in the marketing/BPO industry covering a broad background in product development, sales management, marketing and CRM services strategy for international markets. She also has extensive experience creating short and long-term sales plans involving strategic account penetration in the US Hispanic market. Prior to joining TRANSEARCH, Mar was in charge of Amicorp’s BPO business opportunities as well as BPO Marketing support for the BPO Division. In this role, she was responsible for acquisition and support of new operations in Europe and the Americas inside the new BPO service offering that Amicorp delivers from India. Her career includes roles as VP of Business Development for the BOP division of MphasiS, now an HP Company with operations in different locations in India and Mexico and VP of Sales for TeleTech, a CRM leading company with operations in more than 25 countries. Here, she managed off-shoring business opportunities in both Latin America and US Hispanic markets and was responsible for the acquisition and support of new operations in the Latin America region including the management of Multicultural Marketing projects. In her duties of coordinator for international accounts at McCann Erickson Latin America & Caribbean and McCann Relationship Marketing, she was responsible for developing a single strategy between the two companies in seven countries for one of the largest Telecom & Media companies in the region. Previously, as an Account Director in McCann Erickson and Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising in Spain, she built and executed the communication strategy of international clients such as Unilever, Bacardi-Martini, Sara Lee, Danon Group, Doctors without Borders and Durex. In 1998 and 1999, she was awarded with the EFI Award for the best efficient communication strategy for her clients. Mar holds a degree in Communication Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and an MBA Major in Marketing from ESADE University in Spain.
