About me

Ghazi is a seasoned IT and Banking professional with more than 24 years regional experience with financial major, Arab Bank. Since February 2009 Ghazi has been the Chairman of Jordan Computer Society, and from April 2008 to November 2009 he has sat on the Board of Trustees for Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Amman, Jordan. In addition he also served as a member of Steering Committee for the Electronic Cheque Clearing Project (ECC) for the Central Bank of Jordan. Ghazi started his IT career at Arab Bank as a programmer in 1983 and over several years he held many key positions and handled multi-country projects. Upon leaving Arab Bank Ghazi held the role of SVP / Information Technology. In his IT consulting work Ghazi has specialized in IT Strategy, Policies and Procedures, Budget and Project Management In June 2009, Ghazi took up the position of SVP, Head of Enterprise Project Management Office at Al Hilal Bank, Abu Dhabi, UAE Ghazi holds a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science, and has attended several workshops and conferences globally.
