Ewan Shanks brings over twenty (20) years of recruitment experience to the company. He began his career with a boutique contingency agency and spent sixteen (16) years with a pre-eminent retained search firm in Toronto, Canada before moving to the largest global search company where he ran two (2) major RPO projects in the energy and mining sectors. After this, Ewan joined IAMGOLD Corporation, a tier one (1) global mining company headquartered in Toronto, as Senior Corporate Recruiter where he was responsible for local and international recruiting. Upon leaving IAMGOLD, Ewan was a partner in a search firm in Toronto focusing once again on the mining sector. After three years running this firm in Toronto, Ewan decided to move to South America to launch International Recruiters due to a high demand for his expertise in the region. Ewan is trained in Structural Behavioural Interviewing and has a keen eye for identifying top talent in the marketplace. He excels at managing client relationships and delivering results on time and under budget. His motto is "under-promise and over-deliver". Ewan holds a Certified Professional Consultant (CPC) designation through ACSESS, along with CSC and IFIC certifications.
