About me

Hi, my name is Dick Metzler--- Hailing from Minnesota, I started investing in Southwest Florida in 1992, while here in Fort Myers, Florida during Spring Training for the Minnesota Twins baseball team. I did marketing and sales for the Twins organization. Previous to working with the Twins, I owned Candy Morgan Model & Talent Agency & I worked in sales and marketing in the packaging and graphics industry for many years in Minnesota. In addition, I have been called upon many times over the years to give motivational speeches to sales people in several different industries & organizations. I was a professional boxer for a few years when I was young. I did it for an experience, to prove to myself I could do it. I also played semi-professional football for a team in Vancouver, BC in Canada. The fast-pitch softball team I was on while living in the Minneapols/St. Paul area traveled over much of the Upper-Midwest of the United States. I have spent much of my free time over the years coaching Little League & Babe Ruth baseball & Pop Warner football for youngsters. Since moving to Kelly Greens Golf & Country Club in Fort Myers, I find myself enjoying the beautiful sunny weather of SW Florida by golfing and other outdoor activities. Being a true "Fanatic" of both the Minnesota Vikings football team & the Minnesota Twins, I have had the opportunity to form friendships with several of the players, coaches & executives of these organizations, including a dear friend Billy Martin of the Twins & New York Yankees fame.
